The radios at work are supposed to be used for work-related purposes. Everyone has their own call signs, so we all know whose conversations are being transmitted. Sometimes (though not often enough) the exchanges veer away from the usual boringness.
Mother: Mother calling Jugs.
Me: This is Jugs; go ahead.
Mother: I just wanted to alert you that there are some cameramen outside your office. They’re fine; they’re just celebrity spotters. I didn’t want you to be alarmed when you saw the large lenses.
Me: Thank you Mother.
Speed: I didn’t know that you had any problems with large lenses.
Me: Today’s Wednesday, you must all be doctors!
