In keeping with the theme of sewing things for people that are not me, I busted out some fleece that I had been saving to make a pair of pajama pants for Mupple. I guess the technical term is “lounge pants”, because you can wear them everywhere. You can even wear them to the store, if you are a female between the ages of 1 and 32. Since Mupple doesn’t fall in to this category, he won’t wear lounge pants OR pajama pants outside the house. Unless the fire alarm is going off, of course.
I laid out the fabric and the Investigator showed up to claim it for himself in the name of cats everywhere. Even after the legs were cut out, he managed to find a place to flop. I ended up using some fabric scraps to make him a catnip-filled toy to ignore, but he went a bit crazy trying to tear it up.
The finished product! With elastic waistband goodness!
Tomorrow, there will be NO SEWING, much to everyone’s relief. But there will be a big party to celebrate Mupple’s birthday! I can’t tell you what we’re doing, because it’s a surprise 🙂
